I’m Evony Lynch, a birthkeeper, doula, and teacher with over 20 years of midwifery experience and as a doula since 2022. I offer holistic, relationship‑based doula support to families across Penzance, West Cornwall, and online.

Pregnancy and birth should be a time for excitement and joy, yet often we feel anxious, worried and alone. I offer heart-centred, holistic support for those planning a vaginal birth, where we build a relationship through pregnancy; building your confidence, self belief and yes - excitement about giving birth.

Rooted in trust, intuition, and a physiology first approach, my support is here to nourish, guide, and hold space for the intuitive wisdom you hold within.

Working with you in pregnancy

  • Meeting you and your partner regularly throughout pregnancy to understand the physiology of labour and birth, the hormones, the way your body and baby prepare. It’s a full birth prep through our sessions.

  • Being an experienced listening ear, and encouraging voice on Whatsapp from the moment we start working together

  • Sharing with you what undisturbed birth feels, looks, and sounds like, and how to optimise your innate ability to birth your baby

  • Exploring your ‘story’ of birth from your own experience, friends, family and society to release any fears - including talking through any previous births

  • Exploring movement, instinct, breath and biomechanics for birth, should that be needed

  • Birthing your placenta - naturally and safely, cord cutting options, cord ties

  • Ways to meet your baby with love and gentleness and how to claim those first hours - not just one ‘golden hour’

  • Holding space for you to grow your confidence in your self, your body, your baby and ultimately your ability to experience an amazing positive birth - however it unfolds.

  • At least 6 sessions in your home over the course of your pregnancy.

  • On call for your labour and birth.
