Your Guide
I’m Evony Lynch, former NHS and independent midwife in Cornwall, intersectional feminist turned doula.
My experience spans from homebirths to caesareans, ‘out of guidelines’ choices, community and hospital midwifery; even being part of the ‘safety & risk’ governance team. I’ve watched ‘normal birth’ and the role of the midwife in physiological birth be eroded, and the chance of having a physiological birth is now less than 50%.
Doulas are needed more than ever. To support autonomy and choices. To speak up.
This is sacred work. Soul deep.

Our Mission
The mission of the Holistic Doula School is to offer thoughtful, inclusive and ethically grounded education for doulas and birthkeepers.
We offer training for doulas and birthkeepers who want to work holistically while staying deeply informed and reflective. Our approach honours physiological processes, knowing that some births require medical support. We respect individual autonomy and recognises the complex systems and culture within which we grow and birth our babies.
